...New... Not so much to Monty Python... But new to being a 'fan' of it. (Liked Flying Circus ever since I saw it when I was like... 10... but only get mega interested recently) Eric Idle is my favorite *nods*
Well... I come bearing this...
It's a 'I was bored so used Windows Movie Maker Again' thing... It's not really got any pictures of Eric or Python (like... 3 or 4) But it IS the song "Meanind of Life" From one of my favorite movies of all time haha.
It's Monkees, and Top Gear primarily on the picture front...
Hope it's ok.

HOORAH (: my first post here, and i thought i might aswell start off with this titchy piece of fiction i wrote a couple of months ago!
Title: My Name Is Eric Rating: PG-13 Length: 1,000 words Warnings: themes of violence, and murder (and transvestitism, but only a mention) Synopsis: 'The life of a killer? Eh, it’s not all that.' Or so he said. Author’s Notes: I basically took Mr Idle and turned him into a murderer. Yes, it's a totally bizarre and odd idea, but I enjoy experimenting with bits and bobs like this, and sticking fairly normal people into different situations. Disclaimer: I don't own Monty Python or Eric Idle (but I do borrow him at weekends (: )
( i was recognised in the supermarket the other day... )

(Tell me you're from LJ and I'll send you a little something special along withe item you won! And I do combined shipping. Two extra bucks for every addded album.)
Check it out!

Hello one and all! Just wanted to give a shoutout that Idleized Heaven's main hub for fans and communications, the Idle Musings forum, is back online and running smoothly once more! Not only have I fixed the forum itself, but the quotes system is fixed as well. And, to add a cherry on top, it has been given a new look as to go with IH's current layout. So come on over - there's litereally thousands of posts already - let's see a few thousand more!

First, let me apologize on the lack of updates to the site lately. The last eight months or so of my life have been... rather hectic. And now I've moved away and am in college, living on my own, so time has become all the more limited. BUT, that doesn't mean that the updates won't stop coming! I actually work on the site every week, little by little, here there and everywhere, but never write up an actual main page post about it until later when I've done a good deal of updates. So just keep lurking on the site and snooping around - you might come across something new like, oh, say, a completely-revised Idleography page. ;)
I'm also doing some heavy-duty review work lately. If you've seen a bunch of, or even just a few of, Eric's films, and would like to write up a review, check out some of the reviews on the Idleography page ( http://www.eric-idle.com/movies.html ) for a basic idea on the writing style, and then send me away some of your own reviews! All well-written works are welcome (well-written not being based on grammar, but on your context - for example, don't just say that you thought it was 'really good' - tell us why)!
And just to get some good Ericy discussion going on here, I pose before you a question:
What would you like to see Eric do next?
This isn't necessarily asking what he IS doing next (more info on that in my next update!), but what YOU wish he was doing.
Personally? I'd love to see him do another tour, and make The Remains Of The Piano.
